After being contacted by this newspaper, a spokesperson for Derry City and Strabane District Council confirmed that a team had visited the site and removed the offending material.

Derry City and Strabane District Council advised of minor disruption to some of its services today such as the closure of outdoor sports pitches and council cemeteries except for burials.
Karen Phillips, Director of Environment and Regeneration at Derry City and Strabane District Council, said the report had acknowledged “very limited engagement and feedback" in terms of the letter sent to residents.
More urban areas, like Belfast and Derry City and Strabane council areas, were home to a higher percentage of people who identified as LGB+.

The average number of days lost to sickness at Derry City and Strabane District Council rose from 10.4 days to 16.8 days between 2020-21 and 2021-22, according to the Local Government Auditor.
The complaint was brought by Derry City and Strabane District Council under the Welfare of Animals Act (NI) 2011.
The initiative, which is run through Derry City and Strabane District Council, is all part of Recycling Week.
